Full Description
The 128-note Linear Morphing AiF Sound Source technology produces 16 top-quality tones and is perfectly suited to both classical piano music and other genres. The samples are complex stereo recordings taken from a top-quality concert piano with four dynamic levels, providing an authentic sound and allowing you to play from piano to forte without any sound discolouration or audible leaps.
The scaled, hammer-action keyboard has 88 touch-responsive, weighted keys and is based on the keyboard of a concert piano, providing an authentic playing experience. It also features a third sensor, allowing you to use fast techniques without the notes sounding cut off. The piano setting key switches to grand piano sound at the touch of a button, and has two settings: "classic" for a soft, discreet sound and "modern" with a lighter, brighter character.
The PX-830 also features the "Acoustic Resonance" Casio effect that simulates the resonating strings of a concert piano.
