This is one of Roland’s high-end flagship home digital pianos. It sits above the LX-7 and offers a larger cabinet, a more powerful speaker system and a very impressive acoustic-style playing experience.

It is a serious instrument and plays beautifully. The keyboard action feels excellent, the piano sound is rich and powerful, and the overall playing experience is far above standard entry-level or mid-range digital pianos.

This would be ideal for a serious learner, returning pianist, family home, music room, teacher, or anyone wanting a high-quality digital piano with the presence of an upright acoustic piano.

A note about cosmetic condition

This piano has some visible marks, chips, scuffs and previous touch-up areas on the polished white cabinet. These are mainly around the side panels, legs, front edges and top lid area. The black speaker cloth also shows some marks.

I have photographed these areas clearly so there are no surprises.

Mechanically and musically, however, the piano is excellent. It has been fully tested and plays beautifully. The cosmetic marks do not affect the sound, keyboard action or functionality.

This has been reflected in the price. A cleaner used example of this model would be priced around £2000-£2500.

Delivery / collection

Delivery is available within my delivery zone for £77.

Delivery is carried out by independent movers with a van and two porters. Delivery is to ground floor only. They will bring the piano into a ground-floor room, but they do not take pianos upstairs.

Delivery usually takes around 3–4 working days after purchase.

Collection is also welcome from Liverpool.

The piano can be dismantled into sections for transport, which makes it easier to move through doors and into a suitable vehicle.
