Compact Yamaha upright pianos have long been a leading choice for home pianists, teaching studios and school practice rooms. They are remarkably well built and consequently are reliable and stable enough to provide many years of reliable service in demanding environments.
The M10 is a Japanese-built model, from the same factory that produces the industry defining U Series uprights, and while it was one of the smaller piano Yamaha made at the time, it still benefits from such refinements as a solid spruce soundboard.
Typically of Yamaha's compact uprights, the M10 has a remarkably powerful and resonant tone while the touch is even and controlled. It would be a great choice of piano for the beginner, and equally a more advanced musician in need of a top quality acoustic piano, but with limited space, would find the M10 satisfying to play.
This is a much better Yamaha piano from the most basic, Chinese made B series
